FOXO4-DRI
FOXO4-p53 interfering peptide studied as a targeted senolytic in cellular senescence research.
Testing & quality
Every batch is supplier-tested for identity and purity and randomly verified by independent third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry.
About FOXO4-DRI
FOXO4-DRI is a mirror-image peptide built to break up the bond between two proteins, FOXO4 and p53. Breaking that bond is what lets worn-out 'senescent' cells — cells that stopped dividing but won't die — finally clear out.
It is the go-to reference compound in senolytic research, studied for clearing senescent cells, the inflammatory signals those cells give off, and tissue aging. Supplied freeze-dried at 99%+ purity for laboratory research only.
What animal studies have reported
These are outcomes published in peer-reviewed animal (preclinical) research on FOXO4-DRI. They describe results seen in laboratory animals only.
- Clearance of worn-out senescent cells in aged mice
- Regrowth of fur and improved coat condition in old mice
- Better kidney function markers in aged and treated mice
- Improved stamina in aged mouse studies
Animal findings do not predict results in humans. Nothing here is a claim about human use — this product is sold for laboratory research only.
Compound classification
Synthetic D-retro-inverso (DRI) peptide derived from the FOXO4 transcription factor.
Mechanism studied in the literature
Designed to disrupt the FOXO4–p53 interaction in senescent cells, releasing p53 to the nucleus and inducing selective apoptosis of senescent cells in preclinical models without affecting healthy proliferating cells.
Research areas
- Cellular senescence and senolytic screening
- FOXO4 / p53 protein–protein interaction biology
- Tissue homeostasis and SASP (senescence-associated secretory phenotype) studies
- Geroscience and age-related disease models
Storage
Lyophilized: -20°C, protected from light, for long-term stability. Reconstituted: 2-8°C, use within 28 days under sterile laboratory conditions. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution (laboratory)
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic or sterile water for injection (USP grade). Swirl gently to dissolve.
Notes
Sold strictly as a reference research compound for in-vitro laboratory study. Independently HPLC/MS verified at 99%+ purity.
